The collection of the “Berel” State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve has been enriched with valuable scholarly and historical works. Approximately 100 books on the archaeology, history, and cultural heritage of Kazakhstan were donated to the museum’s collection. The books were donated by Zainolla Samashev, a renowned archaeologist, Doctor of Historical Sciences, professor, and laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Kazakhstan. These are not just books. They are the result of many years of scholarly research, a testament to the researcher’s achievements, and valuable sources that allow visitors, schoolchildren, students, and scholars to gain a deeper understanding of the history of the Great Steppe, ancient monuments, and archaeological heritage. A significant portion of Zainolla Samashev’s scholarly works is devoted to the archaeology of Kazakhstan, including the ancient heritage of the Kazakh Altai, the Berel burial mounds, ancient Turkic culture, and historical and cultural monuments. We thank Zainolla Samashev for his invaluable contribution to the preservation and promotion of our historical heritage!
