Family Day is celebrated in Kazakhstan in September. To mark the occasion, Aidyn Zhumadilyuly Rakhymbayev—founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of BI Group—visited the "Berel" State Historical-Cultural Museum-Reserve with his family. The trip was organized by Mukhtar Toibazarov, a tour operator, restaurateur, and blogger. Berel is a unique historical site located in the heart of the Altai region in East Kazakhstan. It is home to famous burial mounds dating back to the era of ancient nomads. Archaeological artifacts here tell the story of the daily life, culture, and traditions of the people of that time. Weapons, jewelry, household items, and horse trappings serve as a valuable legacy, bringing the voice of a bygone era into the present. Berel offers the opportunity not just to read about history in books, but to experience it firsthand. And discovering such treasures with one’s family holds a special significance. After all, a family is like a small state. It is here that values are shaped, traditions are carried on, and the continuity of generations is preserved. Knowing history is important. But passing it on to future generations is even more important.
